Abu Dhabi, March 26 -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has accused Iran of crossing "all red lines" as tensions in the region escalated sharply, with missile strikes, maritime threats, and disruptions to global trade through Strait of Hormuz raising alarm.
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi called for an urgent diplomatic solution, warning that Tehran's actions-including attacks on Gulf states and the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz-pose a grave threat to regional stability.
"The deterioration of the situation in the Arab Gulf will send a warning that extends beyond the Gulf region," he said.
