Tehran, July 1 -- Iran, the United States, and Lebanon will create a joint committee to ensure Lebanon's national sovereignty, Iranian parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said.
"A joint committee of Iran, the US, and Lebanon will be created to ensure Lebanon's national sovereignty. The Iranian ambassador [to Lebanon] will be our representative to this committee," Ghalibaf said as reported by the Iranian media.
At the same time, he noted that the US license for Iran's oil sales will be renewed if negotiations are extended.
"This license must be extended until the negotiations, if extended, lead to a final outcome, which will be the lifting of both primary and secondary sanctions against Iran," Ghalibaf added.
