Hyderabad, July 29 -- Attapur Police arrested an IPS trainee officer, M Uday Krishna Reddy (33), in connection with a sexual assault, stalking and criminal intimidation case registered at Attapur Police Station.
The accused, a 2025-batch IPS officer undergoing training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVP NPA), was taken into custody on the night of July 28 near Aramghar X Roads following an investigation.
According to a police statement on Wednesday, the accused allegedly developed a relationship with a fellow IPS trainee after they connected on Instagram in 2025.
