New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- IPL franchises have been given an additional two days to submit their retention and release lists ahead of the 2027 player auction, with the deadline moved from November 15 to November 17, according to a cricinfo report.

The original date coincided with the fifth ODI between India and New Zealand. The mini-auction will be held in Goa on December 16.

Once the teams confirm their retained and released players, the IPL will share the list of registered players with the franchises. The teams will then be asked to shortlist their preferred options before the final auction pool, along with the order of player sets, is circulated in the week before the event.

The player registration window will remain open until November 23...
