Geneva, Aug. 14 -- The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that it has informed IOC-recognized International Federations (IFs) of the process for the disciplines of each sport to be considered by the IOC as candidate disciplines for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
International Federations responsible for disciplines included in the Brisbane 2032 Host Contract may propose one additional discipline for consideration.
Other IOC-recognized IFs may be eligible if their discipline was included in the Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024 or LA28 Olympic programs through an Organizing Committee sports proposal.
