Chandigarh, March 2 -- Tragedy struck Hazara Singh Wala village in the Ferozpur Rural constituency following the death of a 12-year-old girl, allegedly due to the consumption of contaminated water.
The incident has left approximately 20 other school-going children ill after consuming the same water. All affected children have been admitted to the Government Hospital in Ferozpur, where they are currently undergoing medical treatment.
Ferozpur Rural MLA Rajneesh Dahiya visited the hospital to personally monitor the situation and interact with the ailing children.
