Chandigarh, March 24 -- The message of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is set to resonate across Japan this summer as the Haryana government, through the Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB), prepares to host the seventh international edition of the International Gita Mahotsav (IGM).

Scheduled to take place from June 19 to June 22 in Tokyo, the event marks a significant milestone in the state's efforts to promote the Gita not merely as a religious text but as a universal philosophy for life.

This upcoming edition follows successful international celebrations previously held in nations including Australia, Canada, Mauritius, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
