Hyderabad, May 10 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to conduct Intermediate admissions as usual this year, while deferring the proposed merger of Intermediate education with the School Education system pending wider consultations and legislative discussion.
Reviewing the proposal to integrate Intermediate education into the regular school system, the Chief Minister noted that limited time for admissions and several technical challenges were currently hindering the implementation of the merger process.
He instructed officials to immediately commence admissions to ensure that students' interests are not adversely affected, an official statement said on Sunday.
