New Delhi, Oct. 18 -- The Indian Navy's three-masted sail training ship INS Sudarshini has departed Salalah, Oman, after a three-day port call, continuing its historic transoceanic deployment under Lokayan-2026, aimed at strengthening professional seamanship, leadership and maritime cooperation.

During the visit, professional interactions and sporting engagements between the Indian Navy and the Royal Navy of Oman provided opportunities to deepen professional ties, foster camaraderie and reinforce longstanding bonds of friendship between the two maritime forces.

The port call also highlighted the role of naval engagements in strengthening people-to-people connections and advancing maritime diplomacy between India and Oman.
