New Delhi, July 16 -- India's industrial and warehousing real estate market maintained strong momentum during the first half of 2026, with Grade A leasing rising 12pc year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to nearly 22 million square feet across the country's top eight cities, despite global geopolitical uncertainties impacting supply chains.

According to the latest market data by Colliers, Delhi NCR and Chennai emerged as the strongest-performing markets, jointly accounting for more than 45pc of total leasing activity during H1 2026. Other major logistics hubs, including Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru, also recorded healthy demand, with each city crossing 2 million square feet of Grade A space absorption.
