Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, July 7 -- India has secured another major defence export breakthrough with Indonesia agreeing to procure two batteries of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system under a deal estimated at around USD 200 million, further strengthening strategic ties between the two Indo-Pacific partners.
The agreement, concluded during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Jakarta, is among the most significant outcomes of the bilateral talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and reflects New Delhi's expanding footprint in the global defence market.
