Srinagar, Sept. 4 -- An IndiGo flight operating from Navi Mumbai to Srinagar Airport came into contact with a Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) pole while being positioned at a parking bay on Friday morning, airport authorities here said.
The aircraft, flight 6E 225 (VT-NOG), came into contact with the VDGS pole at Bay No. 06 at around 9 am during the parking process, they said.
All passengers and crew members onboard the aircraft were reported safe and no injuries were reported. The passengers and crew were safely deboarded using manual aircraft stairs, authorities said.
The details and circumstances leading to the incident will be examined by the appropriate authorities as per the prescribed procedures.
