New Delhi, March 24 -- : InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., the operator of IndiGo, has named former Air India Express managing director Aloke Singh as its chief strategy officer (CSO) as part of a wider leadership transition within the airline.
Singh is set to take over from April 6, when he will head long-term strategy and enterprise transformation.
The appointment comes as India's largest airline by market share undergoes a leadership transition.
Former chief executive Pieter Elbers stepped down earlier this month, which led to a reshuffle within the senior leadership team.
Singh will initially report to Rahul Bhatia, the managing director, before transitioning to the incoming chief executive once a successor is appointed.
