New Delhi, May 26 -- Scientists at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, have developed a novel imaging platform that could transform the way diseases such as cancer and neurological disorders are detected and studied by enabling unprecedented visualization of proteins within biological samples.

The technology, named Cleavable Light-Erased Antibody Reporter (CLEAR), allows researchers to image a large number of proteins in the same biological sample using just a single fluorescent marker.

The breakthrough is expected to open new avenues in disease diagnosis, biological research and precision medicine.
