Mumbai, March 22 -- India marked a significant milestone on the global esports stage by hosting the World Finals of the Global Esports Games for the first time. Held from March 19 to 22, 2026, this prestigious international tournament witnessed participation from players representing 19 countries.

Following successful editions in Singapore, Istanbul, and Riyadh, the tournament was organised for the first time in South Asia. The competition featured popular esports titles such as Dota 2 and Clash Royale. Leading nations including Argentina, Australia, the United States, Great Britain, Indonesia, and Turkiye participated in the event.
