Bengaluru, April 16 -- State-run Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has ramped up Auto LPG supplies in Bengaluru by nearly 300 per cent, responding to a sharp spike in demand triggered by disruptions in private sector supply chains.

According to an official release issued by PIB Bengaluru on Thursday, IndianOil supplied 75.53 metric tonnes (MT) of Auto LPG in the city on Wednesday, significantly higher than the pre-crisis daily average of around 23 MT.

The company has also enhanced supplies across Karnataka, increasing its daily dispatches to over 83 MT in recent days, compared to the earlier average of around 43.5 MT per day, effectively doubling supply to meet rising demand.
