New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- The Indian Navy's First Training Squadron (1TS), comprising INS Tir, INS Sujata and Indian Coast Guard Ship Sarathi, arrived off Male, Maldives, on October 21 as part of its long-range training deployment, underscoring the growing maritime partnership between the two neighbouring countries.
The squadron received a warm welcome from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), highlighting the close defence ties and shared maritime interests of India and the Maldives.
