Pune, May 10 -- Renowned actress, singer, and composer Ketaki Mategaonkar says she feels a strong desire to master as many Indian musical forms as possible, and wishes to propagate and promote them across the globe.
''Our country is rich in diverse musical genres. Therefore, as a music practitioner, I feel a strong desire to master as many Indian musical forms as possible. Just as Western music has spread across the globe, I hope to contribute to the propagation and promotion of Indian musical genres in a similar manner,'' Mategaonkar said.
