New Delhi/Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi met Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Hafiz Uddin Ahmad on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and a range of issues concerning the two countries, reports Daily Sun.
The meeting was held at the Speaker's office at the National Parliament on September 2.
Hafiz Uddin Ahmad said relations between Bangladesh and India had evolved through periods of challenges and tensions, with changing circumstances also shaping the historically close relationship between the two countries.
