Glasgow, July 28 -- India's eight-member artistic gymnastics contingent returned empty-handed from the Commonwealth Games 2026 here, with Protistha Samanta's seventh-placefinish in the women's vault final marking the country's best result.
Samanta, competing at her maiden Commonwealth Games, qualified seventh for the women's vault final with a score of 13.025 before finishing seventh in the final with 12.883.
The 22-year-old Indian gymnast's performance was India's lone top-eight finish in the sport at Glasgow 2026.
