Glasgow, July 28 -- Sakshi Choudhary, Sachin Siwach and Ankush Panghal advanced to the quarter-finals of their respective boxing events at the Commonwealth Games 2026, extending India's impressive run here.
Sakshi produced a 5-0 win in the women's 51kg division against Botswana's Lethabo Modukanele at the Scottish Event Campus.
The Indian boxer made full use of her height to land in the first round on Monday. Modukanele came out aggressively in the second round but Sakshi remained composed and finished the round with a pair of solid punches.
