While the Federation Cup Athletics Championships in Ranchi has given the country moments of immense pride- with two major barriers breached and one national record rewritten three times- Indian distance runners are also making their mark on the international stage.

India's distance-running sensation Gulveer Singh added another feather to his cap on Sunday, finishing second at the Sound Running Track Fest in Los Angeles with a timing of 13:03.93, rewriting his own national record by nearly eight seconds.
