New Delhi, July 14 -- With the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow starting on July 23 and the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya to follow later this year, India's top 400m runners believe the tougher test will come in Scotland rather than Japan.

India's 400m runners told SAI media that the presence of athletes from Australia and England will make races more competitive at the Commonwealth Games and that will serve as good preparation ahead of the Asian Games 2026.

India will field a 32-member track and field squad at the truncated 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
