New Delhi, July 15 -- With 2026 witnessing one of the most intense and prolonged summer seasons in recent years, the Indian Army has stepped up efforts to protect its personnel and their families from heat-related illnesses through a series of awareness programmes in the national capital.
The Station Health Organisation (SHO), Delhi Cantonment and Shakurbasti, conducted interactive awareness sessions for troops and their families on recognising, preventing and responding to heat-related illnesses, as temperatures continue to remain above normal across large parts of the country.
