London, April 30 -- Both Indian men's and women's players maintained their perfect start to the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships 2026 by winning their second group ties in the tournament at the OVO Arena Wembley here.

The Indian women's team beat Ukraine 3-2, while the men overcame Slovakia by the same scoreline on Wednesday.

In their opening matches at the World Team Table Tennis Championships 2026, the Indian women received a walkover from Uganda, while the men blanked Tunisia 3-0.

World No. 48 Manika Batra handed India the perfect start by defeating Olympian Tetyana Bilenko 3-1 (11-9, 7-11, 11-6, 11-5).
