Manchester, July 4 -- India survived a spirited England fightback to post a competitive 190 for seven in the second T20 International at Emirates Old Trafford here on Saturday after an explosive start threatened to take the game away from the hosts before Tilak Varma's late flourish revived the innings.

Opting to bat after winning the toss, India flew out of the blocks with Abhishek Sharma and teenage opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi taking the attack to the England bowlers. Abhishek blazed 43 off 24 deliveries, peppering the boundary with eight fours and a six, while the 15-year-old Sooryavanshi showcased fearless intent with two towering sixes in his 10-ball 14.
