New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- India on Sunday said any world map used in connection with a recent UN General Assembly resolution must accurately depict India's sovereign territory, including the union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, in accordance with the country's official map.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) made clear that India's position on its sovereignty and territorial integrity remains "clear, consistent and non-negotiable," stressing that any inaccurate or misleading depiction of Indian territory would be unacceptable.
