New Delhi, June 3 -- India and South Africa to intensify research collaboration in priority areas including Artificial Intelligence, Digital Infrastructure and Geospatial Technologies, according to an official document shared by the Ministry of Science and Technology on Wednesday.

During the talks between South African Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Nomalungelo Gina and union Minister of Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, it was agreed to accelerate interactions among scientists, institutions and technical experts to transform these focus areas into concrete collaborative programmes and outcomes.
