New Delhi, July 30 -- India's merchandise exports to its new Free Trade Agreement (FTA) partners are projected to more than quadruple to USD 1 trillion by 2035 from USD 233 billion in 2025, driven by greater market access, tariff liberalisation and trade facilitation measures, according to a study released by industry body ASSOCHAM.

The study, titled India's Recent FTAs: Trillion-Dollar Export Opportunities, estimates that exports to the nine new FTA partners will rise to USD 511 billion by 2030 before touching the USD 1 trillion milestone by 2035.

The report said India's recent trade agreements are expected to create significant opportunities for exporters in developed markets across 38 countries.
