New Delhi, June 12 -- : India is set to achieve a significant milestone in indigenous defence technology with the Final Operational Clearance (FOC) of the Netra Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system scheduled to be formally declared on June 25 at the Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) in Bengaluru.
Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the clearance marks the successful operational maturation of India's first homegrown airborne surveillance and command-and-control platform, strengthening the Indian Air Force's network-centric warfare and early warning capabilities.
