BD NarayankarHyderabad, Sept. 4 -- India needs at least four government-supported national golf academies and a structured partnership between professional golfers and the government to produce the next generation of Olympic medalists, leading professional golfer Amardeep Malik said here.

Speaking exclusively to UNI on the sidelines of the Telangana Golconda Masters, Amardeep said India had the golfing talent but lacked the infrastructure and institutional ecosystem required to convert that talent into sustained international success.
