Hyderabad, July 11 -- union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said India's IT industry must transition from providing software services to delivering AI-driven solutions to retain its global leadership in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Addressing the media after interacting with industry leaders in Hyderabad, Vaishnaw said artificial intelligence has fundamentally transformed the IT sector and called for close collaboration between industry, academia and the government to equip the workforce with the latest AI skills. He said the Centre has worked with NASSCOM to develop an updated AI curriculum for colleges.
