Glasgow, July 24 -- India's Jaspreet Kaur produced a spirited performance but narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing sixth in the women's lightweight para powerlifting event at the Commonwealth Games here on Friday.

Jaspreet impressed in the preliminary rounds by topping Group B with a best lift of 100kg to qualify for the medal round. However, despite matching her best effort, she finished sixth overall with 96.4 points under the bodyweight-adjusted scoring system.

Fellow Indian Suman Devi also put up a determined display, ending seventh with 88.4 points as India concluded its campaign in the event without a medal.
