New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold bilateral talks with Japanese counterpart Shinjiro Koizumi in the national capital, with the discussions expected to focus on further deepening defence and security cooperation between India and Japan.

The meeting, slated to be held on Thursday, is likely to provide an opportunity for the two sides to review the expanding bilateral defence partnership, strengthen strategic trust and explore new avenues of collaboration, particularly in the maritime security and defence technology domains.
