New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- India has introduced a formal inspection and public-rating regime for institutions offering allied and healthcare courses, bringing student feedback, research performance, teaching standards, and campus facilities into the regulatory assessment of recognised institutions.
The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), with the prior approval of the Central government, has notified the Autonomous Boards and Central Assessment Committee (Establishment, Constitution, Functions and Powers) Regulations, 2026, according to an official Gazette notification.
