Dubai, Aug. 28 -- The Indian cricket team will be looking to reclaim their title at the Women's Asia Cup 2026, which will be held at the Dubai International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates from August 28 to September 13.

Harmanpreet Kaur will once again lead the team as the Indian T20 captain with Smriti Mandhana as her deputy.

Star batter Jemimah Rodrigues is not a part of the squad due to injury, making her one of the most notable absentees.

A total of eight teams have been divided into two groups of four for the 2026 Women's Asia Cup. India and Pakistan are both in Group A alongside Hong Kong China and Thailand. The marquee India vs Pakistan clash will take place on September 5, according to olympics.com.
