Bengaluru, Aug. 20 -- India is fast emerging as an AI powerhouse in the Asia-Pacific region, leading its peers in artificial intelligence investment, enterprise adoption and workforce preparedness as businesses shift from experimentation to integrating AI into core operations, a new Autodesk report said on Thursday.
The Autodesk AI Pulse Report 2026, released at the Autodesk Design & Make Summit India in Mumbai, said 91 per cent of Indian organisations increased their AI investments over the past year, well above the APAC average of 85 per cent and the global average of 81 per cent.
