New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- The Defence Ministry has simplified India's defence export procedures and widened the scope of the Open General Export Licence (OGEL) framework to reduce procedural burdens on exporters and provide Indian defence companies with faster access to global markets.
The reforms, undertaken by the Department of Defence Production under the guidance of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, are aimed at positioning India as a competitive, reliable and trusted global manufacturing and defence export partner while advancing the objectives of Make-in-India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
