Bengaluru, Aug. 20 -- India-Dubai non-oil trade has grown by more than 35 per cent since the signing of the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), with Dubai now seeking to build an artificial intelligence corridor with Bengaluru, Dubai Chambers President and CEO Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah said on Thursday.
The growth comes as the two sides seek to move beyond traditional sectors such as trading, retail, wholesale and logistics, with AI, deeptech, fintech and software emerging as key drivers of future bilateral business.
"Since the CEPA agreement was signed almost four years ago, bilateral non-oil trade between Dubai and India increased by more than 35 per cent," Lootah told reporters here.
