New Delhi/United Nations, March 10 -- India on Tuesday condemned the recent airstrikes on Afghanistan at the United Nations, calling them "flagrant violations" of international law, the UN Charter and the principle of state sovereignty, as cross-border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan intensify.

Speaking at the UN, India's permanent representative Parvathaneni Harish referred to concerns highlighted in the Secretary-General's report about civilian casualties caused by cross-border violence.
