New Delhi, May 20 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday held wide-ranging bilateral talks with his South Korean counterpart Ahn Gyu-back in Seoul, with the two sides agreeing to deepen cooperation in defence production, emerging technologies, cyber security, and Indo-Pacific security.
The discussions focused on expanding the full spectrum of India-Republic of Korea defence ties, including industry collaboration, maritime security, logistics support, military exchanges, and regional security cooperation.
Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to a "free, open, inclusive and rule-based Indo-Pacific" while recognising the growing convergence between India's Act East Policy and South Korea's regional strategic vision.
