New Delhi, May 29 -- India and Singapore explored new avenues to further strengthen their strategic defence partnership during the 16th India-Singapore Defence Policy Dialogue held in Singapore.

The dialogue was co-chaired by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Singapore's Permanent Secretary (Defence) Joseph Leong.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the progress of ongoing defence engagements and held extensive discussions on military cooperation, defence industry collaboration, capacity building and regional security issues.
