New Delhi, June 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing on Monday held wide-ranging bilateral talks in New Delhi, agreeing to deepen cooperation across trade, investment, security, connectivity, technology and development sectors, while reaffirming the importance of peace and stability in Myanmar for regional security and the broader Southeast Asian region.
Briefing the media after the talks, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said the two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and discussed ways to expand cooperation in several emerging and strategic sectors.
