New Delhi, June 7 -- India and Indonesia on Sunday reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, expanding cooperation in areas ranging from defence and maritime security to trade, critical minerals and digital connectivity, as External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono co-chaired the 8th India-Indonesia Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) in New Delhi.
The high-level meeting reflected the growing strategic convergence between the two largest democracies in South and Southeast Asia, with both sides reviewing progress in bilateral ties and discussing ways to translate recent diplomatic momentum into concrete outcomes.
