New Delhi, April 29 -- India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on April 27 marks a pivotal inflection point which will create a conducive environment for scaling exports, said Rajesh M Revankar, Vice Chairman of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

He noted that India's exports to New Zealand declined from USD 8.37 million in FY 2024-25 to USD 7.76 million in FY2025-26 marking a contraction of 7.27pc.

The export basket remains highly concentrated, with electronic components and instruments contributing nearly 84pc of total shipments.
