Dambulla, June 11 -- Afghanistan A captain Imran Mir starred with both bat and ball as Afghanistan A stunned India A by four runs via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in the second match of the Tri-Nation A Series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium here on Thursday.

Mir struck an unbeaten 75 off 70 balls and shared a match-defining 108-run unbroken partnership with Bahir Shah (51 not out) to guide Afghanistan A to 177 for two in 25.5 overs before rain brought an early end to the contest. With Afghanistan A ahead of the required DLS score at the interruption, they were declared winners by four runs.
