Panchkula, Oct. 10 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday warned of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds gusting up to 60 kmph at isolated places in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi from October 10 to 12, while Punjab is likely to experience thunderstorms and winds reaching 50 kmph during the same period.
In its latest All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin, issued at 4.30 pm, the weather department said winds of 40-50 kmph, gusting to 60 kmph, were likely at isolated places across Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during the three-day period.
Punjab is expected to witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and winds of 30-40 kmph, gusting to 50 kmph, from October 10 to 12.
