Panchkula, Oct. 13 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today warned of isolated hailstorms, thunderstorms and strong winds gusting up to 60 kmph across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on October 14 and 15, with fairly widespread to widespread rainfall forecast over the region during the two days.
According to the IMD's evening weather bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and winds reaching 40-50 kmph, gusting to 60 kmph, are likely at isolated places across the region from October 13 to 15.
The weather department said isolated to scattered rainfall was likely on October 12 and 13 before intensifying on October 14 and 15. Dry weather is forecast over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi from October 16 to 18.
