mumbai, July 23 -- : Mumbai witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by gusty winds on Thursday as monsoon activity intensified across the city, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a Yellow Alert.
The weather department has forecast further spells of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds during the day, while civic authorities have cautioned residents about possible waterlogging, traffic congestion and disruptions in low-lying areas.
