New Delhi, April 17 -- Light rain is expected across several parts of the national capital region (NCR) on Friday, said the India Meteorological Department.
The weather department issued a yellow alert for the city, forecasting very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, during the afternoon and evening.
"Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by light thunderstorm and lightning (30-50 km/h gusty winds) is very likely to occur at most places of Delhi & NCR," said IMD.
